The new GE VScan handheld ultrasound machine includes dual-probe technology that hosts a sector and linear transducer on opposite sides of the same probe.

The pocket-sized, handheld GE VScan ultrasound machine is the most portable ultrasound on the market, and is very popular for emergency departments, bedside ultrasound, quick visualization and measurements of anatomy and fluid. Additionally, the linear transducer allows the VScan to be used in needle injection procedures.

The VScan ultrasound device features ColorFlow directional imaging, and has presets for a variety of applications. On-board memory storage allows for saving images and making voice notes, which can be downloaded with VScan viewing software that is included free with the ultrasound.
